What is the Neurosteer Platform?
The Neurosteer platform, which has been FDA listed since February 2020 and is currently being readied for submission for FDA approval, provides a unique window into the brain. Compared to a traditional EEG, which returns five to eight frequency bands for subsequent interpretation by a neurologist, the Neurosteer EEG’s single channel is processed in the cloud by the Neurosteer server. The server then decomposes it into over 100 subchannels that are automatically interpreted in real-time into objective biomarkers, without the need for a neurologist or clinician.
In conjunction with Neurosteer’s automatically administered battery of cognitive tests, brain activity monitoring and interpretation can now reach a broader audience, including historically underserved communities.
