The Department of Information Science at Saga University was established in 1989 and offers courses to students which surround mathematics, data sciences, and computers. With Information and Communication Technology (ICT) spreading widely throughout the medical field, with almost 80% of hospitals having introduced Hospital Information Systems, the University is focussing on building these information infrastructure systems to help transform the delivery of healthcare.
